This Sunday September 8th Liam Murphy is attempting to be the very first person to swim from Martins Haven to Caerbwdy/Caerfau Bay, St David's.

Following the strict rules set by the Marathon Swimming Federation Liam will be swimming approximately 15km across the open water of St Brides Bay in a man vs the elements endurance test 🌊

We are honoured to es**rt and observe Liam on this journey and would like you all to join us with supporting him and his mission 👏👏

Although there is personal glory on the line he is also raising money for Noah's Ark Children's Hospital Charity the donate link can be found below 👇

🛥️BOAT TRIPS🛥️

Tomorrow Saturday 11th May we are offering 2 trips

Our first trip will be going to see some of or all of the 41,605 puffins on Skomer Island and a tour around St Brides Bay 🐧

Our second trip which will be in the evening will be heading up the cleddau river for an evening cruise with a stop off at one of the riverside pubs for either a drink or some food 🍲🍻

Both trips will be departing from the Mackerel stage in Milford Haven Marina, just a short 10-15 minute drive from Little haven.

As the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) marks 200 years of lifesaving, the volunteer lifeboat crew of Little and Broad Haven are set to take to the nation’s television screens on Tuesday 30 April as they feature in the ninth series of Saving Lives at Sea on BBC Two and iPlayer.

As the summer season approaches and we're all getting ready to enjoy the sea based activities, it wouldn't hurt to be mindful of how to stay safe out on the water and what to do in the event of something going wrong...

We have Immense gratitude and respect for all RNLI volunteers and are lucky enough to have our own lifeboat station and crew here in Little Haven but it's always best to try and avoid getting into trouble in the first place 🌊
