Jen Pringle studied at Brighton University and acquired a BA Hons in Art and Design and has over 20 years experience in marketing, working with leading brands including Panasonic, Honda and Dior, as well as working with councils, funded projects, SMEs and small startups. From logo design, stationery, marketing materials to social media graphics, Pen & Pringle is passionate about creating design so

lutions that both deliver and delight. We really get to know our clients. We do all we can to understand the people they’re trying to reach. Then we take what we know and create something special. Working with clients across the UK, Pen&Pringle operates remotely but is always happy to meet clients for more in depth briefs or onsite work, dependent on location. I’m going to unplug and recharge for a bit whilst I focus on my gang over the school holidays. So the out of office is on and the shop is closed. I’ll see you in a little while when the sun is warmer and Spring is in full swing - not this fake spring we’re having where it lures you out in a floral dress and cardi only to freeze your fricking ass off. Ooh la la…that late afternoon sun. So gorgeous and such a tonic!

Today I’m celebrating sunshine and also stationery! For I discovered my stationery shop has achieved over 2000 sales! 🥳 I never thought I’d get to this point with my cards and I feel super chuffed. I’ve reduced my range recently just so I can cope with juggling the many hats I wear but I hope to have a few new additions and some of the popular pressed cards back so watch this space! Happy first day of Spring ☀️🌱🌼

I can’t believe we’re approaching the end of March. I feel a bit glum that time seems to be whizzing by so incredibly fast that I just can’t keep up. But the sunshine is most welcome and the warmer, brighter days are such a remedy. The daffodils are out in abundance and they certainly brighten things up too. My tulips are starting to peek out (why does that make me snigger like a school boy?) and I can’t wait to see their colour in full bloom. Which reminds me I must try and get to this year, I always miss their tulips. What do you look forward to in Spring? xx

Yay I finally got to recycle my Christmas wreath!! 🙌 With lots of lovely heather and my camelias in full bloom, today felt like the perfect day for adding some early Spring to my door. Isn’t it beautiful - am so made up!!

Just by chance I finally got to try a sourdough from and oh my, it’s worth making the trip 👌

Now to see if the kids will let me have a 5 minute siesta in the sunshine ☀️🙏🏽 Hoping to recharge a bit this weekend as life is full on with work, freelancing, parenting, parenting my mum 😂, studying and trying to find time for me…that last bit needs some work. And let’s not even talk about house chores 😭. But the sun is shining so I’m going to soak up that vitamin D whilst I can 💛

I managed to grab literally 5 minutes with my magazine today (whilst the kids bickered and wrestled around me nearly knocking my tea over a million times and I zoned out imagining I was somewhere serene). My magazine quoted one of my favourite quotes and said it was a timely quote for Spring which I totally agree with. I love the quote so much I have it on these bookmarks I illustrated. Making the time to read and finding the time to be outdoors and potter, well that’s my happy place right there 💚🪴

Sheesh what a day. Starting from 6am I’ve crammed in design projects ✍🏽. Worked at the nursery 🏫. Got beasted in ballet barre 🩰. Frantically made pancakes post school pre swimming classes. Made, packed and posted my stationery orders 🌺. Ran like Phoebe from Friends on a dog run 🐶.

I am officially beat 😴 And I’ve got more design work to jump on when the kids are tucked up in bed. This week is about survival. Wish me luck 🙏🏽

You won’t see M&S or Waterstones or any other big store doing a Carlton happy dance when you purchase a greetings card. Getting such lovely reviews makes my heart sing. To know my craft is appreciated and loved gives me such a purpose, I really do love my little shop. When you shop small, you make a difference that’s big 💌
