Over the years, I have been incredibly lucky to have had so many opportunities to travel all in the name of work and this year is mapping out to be a special one with a BIG bucket list tick coming up in September! What's even better is that Don will be joining me!

But the big question is where....
We are heading to India for a weeks tour with G Adventures exploring the Golden Triangle!

To say that we are excited is an understatement! India is a destination that has been on our lists forever but we wanted to wait for the kids to be slightly older, however the opportunity has come up to go without them (I do feel a bit bad but they will be getting spoilt at my parents!) so we are heading off for an adventure together!
There are so many parts of this tour that I am looking forward to but the Taj Mahal will be a real 'pinch me' moment I am sure!

If I were going to holiday in the Maldives... this is what I would do:

The Azores have been calling my name lately—and the more I learn, the more I’m convinced they might be one of Europe’s best-kept secrets!

This group of volcanic islands in the middle of the Atlantic (they’re part of Portugal!) looks like something out of a nature documentary—crater lakes, hot springs, dramatic coastlines, and lush green landscapes everywhere you turn.

It’s the kind of destination that seems perfect for slowing down, unplugging, and getting reconnected with the wild, peaceful beauty of the world. Hikes, whale watching, local food, and quiet moments surrounded by nature? Yes please.

Being an independent travel agent, I am passionate about travel and enjoy the whole experience from the early planning stages right the way through to the eventual return home and looking through all of the memories made on the camera. Being able to walk alongside you throughout this process and help you build the holiday of your dreams is quite simply the best job (if I can even call it that, it really doesn’t feel like work).
