Seaflowers oozes originality. Owner Suzy Greenwood has recently renovated this house, previously owned by her grandparents and parents, with the help of furnishings and artwork by south Devon nautical designer Bert Fowler. This house was designed with communal spaces in mind, from the 14-seater duck egg blue sofa to the long dining tables with benches, both in the living room and outside on the patio. The calm and simple colour scheme is smart, with rustic details such as the wooden oars hanging on the wall, plus a one-off Bert Fowler commission of this Frogmore location as a framed picture and huge wall panels in the hallway.”

Step inside our boat shed…

Hire a stand-up paddle board, canoe or kayak from Seaflowers and discover the hidden beauty of Frogmore Creek from the water. Easy to learn, fun for all ages and a unique way to experience our beautiful area - right from the bottom of our garden!

The Seaflowers boatshed has six brand-new 10’10 Two Bare Feet SUPs, a large Indian canoe and one pre-loved kayak - enough for a full house of 14 to enjoy time together on the water. We also have plenty of life jackets in various sizes.

Frogmore Creek is tidal, with water approximately two hours either side of high tide. On a Springs tide week this will give you 4-5 hours in the morning and evenings, and on a Neaps tide you’ll be able to enjoy 4 hours in the middle of the day. There is something very special in planning your adventures around the natural elements - and when you add on SUPs to your booking you can rest assured that you’re able to use them throughout your stay.

“Stylish luxury accommodation on the tidal reaches of Frogmore Creek.

From the moment you walk through the door, Seaflowers presents space filled with light. The space is beautifully styled to offer minimalist style with beautiful art work.

The bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, each provide supreme comfort and style with deep fluffy pillows and soft deep pile cotton towels. An exceptionally well stocked kitchen provides space for cooking and chat. We loved the terraced area for evening drinks before plunging into the immaculately clean outdoor whirlpool bath. All this whilst overlooking the tidal movements of Frogmore Creek.

The owner couldn’t have done more to make our stay absolutely perfect!“

Teas and coffees done right. ☕️

We supply our guests with:

✨ Ground coffee - which we recently upgraded to Terras Atlas blend, a Brazilian dark roast with hints of chocolate & raspberry.

✨Coffee capsules for the Nespresso machines in the kitchen and every bedroom - from which not only taste great but are also fully compostable.

✨ English breakfast tea - you can’t go wrong with the classic .

✨ Two bespoke blended leaf loose teas - Soothe and Nourish, made locally by (and plenty of tea infusers in the cutlery draw to use with them).

✨ Sugar cubes - for those who like a little extra sweetness.

…all stored in beautiful bespoke jars from made especially for Seaflowers.

You’ll also find two pints of milk in the kitchen fridge if you’ve booked the whole house, or milk in your bedroom’s mini fridge if you’ve booked a room-only option. So when you arrive you can make yourself your perfect cuppa, and wake up to a fresh brew the next morning without needing to worry about packing supplies.

Meet our in-house yoga instructor, Kate from 🩵✨

If you’ve seen our yoga retreats but are after something a little more bespoke then why not add on a 1-hour private yoga session at Seaflowers to your stay? Yes that’s right - you can curate the perfect weekend for your group - with yoga, massage, shiatsu, seaweed foot baths, paddle boarding and meal options… we’ve got it all!

Whether greeting the dawn with a session on the lawn next to the Creek or basking in the sunset’s embrace on balmy summer nights, with Kate, the choice is yours.

Each session will be tailored to your group’s preferences, so you can indulge in either an invigorating vinyasa flow or a calm yin/restorative practice.

All levels of experience, from beginner to intermediate, are warmly welcomed. Rest assured, we provide all necessary equipment, including mats, bolsters, straps, and soothing eye pillows.

Kate is a certified yoga instructor specialising in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Mandala, Yin, and restorative yoga since 2018. We’re so happy to be able to partner with her and give our guests such a special add-on.

Next up in our review is our service and facilities - an aspect we pour a lot of care, time and attention into getting right. Here’s what had to say:

“Service and Facilities: 9 / 10

Suzy has attempted to address every need you could ever have when staying away from home. From Dock & Bay towels and kids towelling ponchos for people using the hot tub on the patio, to local walking maps and beach toys plus life jackets to borrow. A fleet of paddleboards is coming soon for guests to launch from the property’s own slipway – in the meantime, you can bring your own or rent boards locally.

Seaflowers suits multi-generational families with a barbecue, washing machine and dryer, full access to a well-kitted out kitchen, plenty of games and books. There’s a running mooring for boats, too. Green credentials are taken seriously: solar panels provide energy for underfloor heating, there’s a ground-source heat pump and EV charger (£15 per use) with parking on the driveway. Yoga lessons and shiatsu massages at the house can be arranged.“

This review was written last year so the paddle boards are now ready for hire, and we’ve made various other upgrades, including brand new outdoor furniture and a new hallway coat & shoe rack. We are always tweaking and finding new ways to enhance our guest experience. This is where listening to your feedback is vital, so thank you to every guest who’s taken the time to share your thoughts. “Beautifully relaxing stay with exquisite decor in all rooms.

Seaflowers was a wonderfully relaxing venue for a few days away. The rooms were elegant in their simplicity, providing a calm and comfortable stay. There were nice touches; tea, coffee with milk in the fridge.

The paddleboards allowed easy access to the estuary with a warm shower by the slipway to wash off afterwards, and a hot tub to use under the stars. The kitchen was extensive and very well equipped.

It was nice to meet and chat with the other guests. All highly recommended. Thank you Suzy.”
