This page is to help with communication within the club and between coaches and parents Welcome to the Wylam Rockets Football Club!

We have achieved a lot since the club was founded in 2003. The club has grown to include 12 teams, with playing opportunities for over 130 children. The first girls team from 2008, the “Rockettes”, have graduated after playing 8 years’ of fantastic football. This has inspired the younger girls and we now have a formidable 8 teams of female footballers. The club exists to encourage and enable young

players in our community to participate in worthwhile, organised football activity, and we pride ourselves on our inclusive approach regardless of ability.

*Message from Wylam Rockets Football Club Committee*

Our club is run on the great efforts of volunteers who take on roles like team coaches, parent helpers and committee members. Over the last 21 years many individuals from within our community have supported the club to provide fun grassroots football for children and young people in the Wylam and Tyne Valley area. We hope to be able to continue doing this for many years to come.

The purpose of this message is to now ask for your help as we need new volunteers to step into the crucial role of Treasurer for next season 24/25.
