THE WENSLEYDALE SHOW is approximately 5 and half miles from us here at Flowery Dell lodges .
Join us for a great day out featuring a variety of attractions, including cattle, sheep, light and heavy horses. Experience the thrill of carriage driving, admire vintage tractors and cars, and enjoy the craftsmanship in our handicrafts and homecrafts displays. Don't miss the flower and vegetable show, walking stick competitions, sheep dog trials, and dry stone walling demonstrations. With live music from the Leyburn Band, terrier racing, a children's fun area, inflatables, and over 200 trade stands, there's something for everyone to enjoy!

On Yorkshire Day, August 1st, Richmond, join us here at Flowery Dell and sample a piece of our homemade Yorkshire Parkin cake, Then head into Richmond where you will find a special artisan market in the Market Place, featuring goods made in Yorkshire, alongside family-friendly entertainment. The event is a collaboration between Richmond Town Council and Little Bird Artisan Market. There will also be a variety of street food vendors and activities like a flat cap race, Yorkshire pub and spoon race, and a 'With T'Whippet Race'. In addition, the Town Hall will host a coffee morning with children's crafts and a town trail.
