Be.Wild.Er - Outdoor Puzzle Experience: Summer 2019
If you like escape rooms and being outdoors you’re going to want to try Be.Wild.Er: Outdoor Puzzle Experience at Amerton Farm! Designed for adults and families with children aged 12 plus, Be Wild Forest School brings you a unique adventure where you will search for clues and work as a team to solve a series of puzzles in just 60 minutes.
Be.Wild.Er will take you on an immersive quest to retrieve the seeds of a super-plant cultivated and hidden by a renowned botanist fearful of multi-global corporations discovering its astounding properties. You must use physical skills, verbal communication and lateral thinking to uncover the seeds and ensure their safety for the world!
Using many recycled items - like an unwanted window frame from a local joinery, a broken fence panel from a DIY store and pallets from neighbours - as well as sourcing props from charity shops, Be.Wild.Er puts players in a story on a campsite where a tent and bicycle trailer have been left behind by a renowned botanist. Players will be met with a series of clues using Ogham, an ancient British and Irish alphabet, leading to where he has secreted the seeds of a powerful plant he has cultivated. Once found they will need to be placed in deposit box to stop the timer and secure the safety of the seeds.
Since May 2018 Be Wild Forest School has been operating from a lovely copse at Amerton Farm. During that time we’ve welcomed many families to fun Forest School sessions - from tiny toddlers in mud kitchens to grandparents snoozing in hammocks! There are countless opportunities for outdoor experiences that we can offer: firelighting, archery, tool use, giant bubble making and art using nature amongst them.
