Here's a rundown of our favourite Botswana Luxury Safari Lodges. Chosen by our Managing Director who has over 25 years of Safari experience as a bush Pilot in Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Zambia plus running several luxury lodges in Botswana and our own Mobile Safaris in Botswana:

1 - Little Vumbura Camp. Lies in the heart of the Okavango in the private Kwedi concession and is perched on the edge of island surrounded by permanent and seasonal waters. Activities are both land and water based and this is just a stunning location with some of the best wildlife in Africa

2 - Kwara Camp is in the Okavango Delta and can rival any camp for the quality of its wildlife sightings and activities, both water and land. Newly upgraded and great quality furnishings but overall this is one of the best all year round camps in Africa.

3 - Stanleys' Camp is named after Henry Morton Stanley who uttered the famous line of "Livingstone I presume" and the camp is located in a superb private concession bordering the magnificent Chief's Island, the Okavango's largest with great wildlife, beautiful accommodation, excellent food and truly stunning wildlife.

4 - Selinda Explorers Camp lies in the Linyanti region in the superb Selinda reserve. This vast place and superb camp, while luxury, is a little more rustic and immersive in a place that feels like one of the most remote places on Earth. Great wildlife, in particular Elephants, takes nothing away from the superb camp, activities and food.

5 - Duba Plains Camp is in a private Okavango concession and is famous for its Lions and Buffalo. The camp lies on a island surrounded by water with access only via a gum pole bridge and is one of the most special areas of the Okavango. Beautifully designed tents with superb activities and food make this a must for any safari.

Set within the Okavango Delta’s community-run Khwai Concession, this beautiful camp is tucked under the trees on the edge of the Khwai River. This river is all that separates the iconic Moremi Game Reserve and the concession, with hippos, elephants and even lions crossing over from time to time.
