We haven't had a WSR FeelGoodFriday tune in a while. Here's a blast from the past (so much so that did you know Glaswegian Jimmy Somerville is now 64, and the only surviving founding member of Bronski Beat. Bronski Beat's debut album The Age of Consent (1984) was the only release Somerville contributed to as lead vocalist before leaving the band in 1985 and joining The Communards).

Some top-notch upcycling here!😁
Rod dragged an old sheep-feed bucket out of the river on a clean-up, and now it's Jammy's new ebike basket!👍
The other bike has a great wicker basket, but it didn't work with this bike due to the forks/suspension. A shop bought pannier frame, plus a plywood base bolted to the bucket, padded the rim, has an interior memory-foam base and the usual harness security attachment, a few hours in the garage and off we went!!
She absolutely loves it - we only go off-road where it's nice and quiet (or on holiday sometimes cycle paths and promenades) and so she gets off for a run when she wants, then asks to get back in when she's ready by coming back to the side of the bike - only little legs and the heart of a lion we encourage her to get 'a pick up' and rest, and go slowly, and the arrangement works just as well with Jammy as it did for Rusty before her❤️🐾 ...plus a loch swim and a run around a big peat bog - top dog-day out.

Took the ebikes from Dalwhinnie up through Ben Alder estate, along the shores of Loch Ericht and up to Loch Pattack for a swim. It's less than an hour each way, and you can follow this and some of our other favourite local rides on komooot. Incredible views up to the surrounding hills!💜

Random ideas for the weekend...
1️⃣ make porridge bread - I swap out the treacle for blackstrap molasses (high in magnesium) add loads of seeds and nuts - previous GF bread I made is fairly brick-like 😁😉 though tasty, but this is much spingier in texture. Needs salted butter or sprinkle of sea salt at the table, still experimenting with the recipe variations... pea protein powder and flax egg coming up 😉☺️
2️⃣ watch Muster Dogs - if you're a dog-softy - it's on Nerflix, Prime and BBC (in Gaelic also) I think. 2 series of feel good furry cuteness that I could just watch on repeat.
3️⃣ quick laughs - on insta - talking dogs (you'll get it if you're a dog person) with contagious laughs, what's not to like😊
