Founded in 2011, Planet Yurt is a yurt hire business focused on supplying yurts for short breaks, festivals & workshops.

As our yurts are 'off-grid' they are carbon neutral and eco-friendly; a great way to get close to nature without adding to the burden on the environment. Our yurts can include the following as required:

We had a lovely time this weekend bringing our yurts to Bearded Theory festival. Our yurt is even featured as part of this Guardian article as the spaces are used for the festival school, only one in the country!

Not to mention our Family Festival Bingo sessions, new for this year and hopefully to become a stalwart.

Put a yurt on it!

We have two 16ft (4.88m) yurts available; one based in Nottinghamshire and one in Norfolk. Each yurt offers 200sqft (18.7sqm) of usable floor space, and is large enough to comfortably sleep 5 when fully furnished, or would suit a workshop with up to 20 participants. We are able to deliver and erect the yurts at a location of your choosing, (including camp sites, subject to prior approval).
