Our client base covers all industry sectors of varying capacity including SME's and Blue Chip Organisations. A busy few weeks with the Data Time team on the road!

When Hot Seat leads to deep thinking...

This week, I had the opportunity to attend the EC Meeting in Nottingham at the Lace Market Hotel. Twenty business owners came together in a room for the 'Hot Seat' session, where three business owners shared the challenges they’re facing, and the group offered help, advice and support. That for me is the power, as we all have a different story to tell and experiences we have learnt from. It’s a real mastermind approach that strips away fluff and gets to the heart of the matter.

Listening to others unpack their issues gave me valuable insights into our own journey at Data Time Systems. Sometimes, it’s not about giving advice, it’s about hearing someone else’s story that shines a light on something in your own business you hadn’t quite seen clearly. Grateful to be part of a community where everyone is open to learning, growing, and sharing what actually works (and what doesn’t!).

While on a site visit last week, a prospective client raised a familiar point during our walkthrough:

“During fire drills, we’re still using paper and pen to check who’s on-site. It’s slow, and honestly, we’re never fully confident we’ve accounted for everyone.”

It’s a common issue - especially in busy environments where teams move between buildings, shifts, or remote sites.
