The season has officially started, our tour to Holland took place last week. Our group experienced the amazing gardens, where we got pride of place to park our cars. We visited the and toured the waterways via the windmills. We had a great mix of and . We had a great group of customers and fun was had by all.

The Jaguar XK Club and Jaguar E-type Club are heading off on our first tour of 2025 tomorrow. They are off on a 4 night adventure to Holland including a visit to the world-renowned Keukenhof Gardens.

As the April temperatures heat up, so does the pace at Backwater Classic Car Tours. Recce of our New Forest tour is complete! Tour managers Anne and Sue undertook this assignment, ahead of June, when they will be escorting this tour.

Last call for our tour to Normandy, 15 - 19 June 2025.

Embark on a captivating four night French tour with a focus on the historic events that took place on the D-Day Landing Beaches in Normandy. On 6th June 1944, these five beaches - Omaha, Utah, Gold, Sword, and Juno - became the epicentre of the largest seaborne invasion in history. On Thursday 8th May this year the world celebrates the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day. We will be in France just one month later. There will be a special 'Standing with Giants' installation at the British Normandy Memorial, situated five minutes from our hotel.

We have planned some great drives for this tour on quiet French back roads. Our hotel for the four nights is one of the most popular on the Normandy coastline, we have a handful of rooms still available, but be quick they are in demand!

We were in illustrious company on last years 'Idyllic Italy' tour. Here we have a fabulous Ferrari 275 GTB alongside a Stag, XK & 911 to mention just a few fantastic cars that we had on this tour. This photo shows the special parking we arranged with Cadore Dolomiti on the Great Dolomite Road.

Jaguar XK Club & Jaguar E-type Club Join us from 1 - 5 September for a journey through the enchanting region of Snowdonia and its picturesque Welsh surroundings. Experience Wales in style, complete with breathtaking scenery, delectable cuisine, and superb accommodation staying at the Portmeirion Hotel.

Staying onsite in the enchanting Portmeirion village is an incredibly exclusive experience. Guests who are part of this unique tour get the privilege of driving their cars through the normally pedestrianised village, a surreal experience in itself as they navigate through its quaint, winding streets, lined with colourful, Italian-inspired architecture.

The first of the two planned road runs takes you into the Snowdonia National Park for the ‘mountain’ run, with the second being the ‘countryside and coastal’ run, ensuring you experience the best of the region. The tour will be rounded off by a private performance by the renowned Welsh Male Voice Choir, ‘Côr Meibion Dwyfor’.
