We kick things off in New Orleans, where music pours out of doorways and the food alone is worth the flight. Think jazz echoing through the French Quarter, late‑night beignets dusted in sugar, and Creole classics done properly. You will spend three nights at the Royal Sonesta, right on Bourbon Street, in the middle of the action. And because this is New Orleans, we have included a 2‑hour jazz cruise on the Mississippi River. Live music, a slow roll past the skyline, and that unbeatable sense of place.
Next up, Nashville. Different rhythm, same obsession with sound and seriously good eats. This is Music City through and through, from hot chicken joints to honky‑tonk stages that never seem to sleep. You will stay three nights at the Virgin Hotel Nashville, right in the heart of Music Row. We have included a hop‑on hop‑off trolley tour, making it easy to bounce between icons like the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Farmers’ Market and the Walk of Fame. Dip in, jump out, follow the music.
Then the tempo drops.
After all that exploring, it is time for a full switch‑off in Mexico. A week of adults‑only, all‑inclusive bliss at Paradisus La Perla in Playa del Carmen. Sleek, stylish and effortlessly social, this is the kind of place where you can float between chilled and cheerful without trying.
There is a long list of restaurants and bars to work your way through, including options at the neighbouring family-friendly resort, so variety comes as standard. Sandy toes, warm evenings, and nothing on the agenda except doing very little.
