Look at those angles!!!

This job was so much fun.

After 20yrs+ in the game it's nice when you get a job that's a little bit more intricate. This was a conservatory turned into an actual room by a long time customer and friend. He did all the boarding and then I was called in for the beading and skimming.

The photos don't even do it justice!

C P treatment carried out on this kitchen over in Halesowen for a long time friend, repeat customer and all round good woman.

Lots of different skills and techniques required here.

As you can see though executed to perfection 👌

Man Down!

Been fighting E.coli 0157 STEC and Campylobacter these last 10 days🦠 Apologies for any delays in communication. It's been a very difficult time. Just starting to feel a little more like myself again these last 24 hrs🤞

Few jobs from this week.

Board bead and skim some pipework in kingsheath for a fantastic repeat customer.
Cut out a warped board from a leak, reboard and skim a ceiling for a lovely elderly couple all the way out in Mere Green.
Dot&dab French door reveals, bead and skim for a long time friend and great builder over in West Heath.

Over in Harborne next week transforming a hall stairs and landing for another long time repeat customer.

3rd floor apartment in Solihull given the CP treatment last week.

Other than the stairs I really enjoyed this one! The attention to detail, intricate and skilled techniques required to turn this one around were really quite impressive 👏

Insurance work carried out on a water damaged property in West Heath.

Remove plaster back to brick 1m high all round. Float out with bonding then finally applying 2 coats of finishing plaster to a smooth flat finish to patch repair all walls. Also make a little feature of chimney breast.

So theme for the week has been ceilings.

Firstly is a bay ceiling in Northfield needing a complete rip down, board and skim due to leak.

Second is a kitchen ceiling in Weoley Castle needing a good patch repair again due to leak.

As you can see from both images the work was carried out to a super high standard. All laffs on bay ceiling brushed down to make sure boarding is a flat and super sharp and the patching on kitchen ceiling was taken further than most plasterers would to make sure all is properly covered.

Again, 2 extremely happy customers that will be spreading the word and recommending the only plasterer to use.

It can't all be work work work. Sometimes we need to remember what we're doing it all for. Great morning at the Big Birmingham Bake with Alice❤️Fantastic experience, would highly recommend. I think it's clear we should have won however it must have been rigged😆🫣

Couple of jobs completed recently.

Complete overhaul of a bedroom in Bournville. Overboard of ceiling, bonding and beading walls then 2 fresh coats of plaster.

Then a little unusable space in a bedroom in West Heath given a freshenup. Floating out walls, beading angles then again 2 coats of super smooth super flat plaster.

This is a cool job I completed in Moseley where I was asked to completely board and skim a chimney breast with a curved inner reveal and make a feature out of the arch on their other chimney breast.

Technical boarding on this one being able to perfectly cut and stick board to curved reveal and then being able to measure, cut and fix plasterboard perfectly around arch and making my own beaded reveals around the edges to give it a sharp clinical finish

Both the customer and I were blown away with the results.

This isn't plastering, this is art👌💯

Oh yesss. Looks good doesn't it 👀🙌

Big leak on a beautiful property over the Lickey Hills.

Cut back warped ceiling section, plasterboard then scrim and bond over for extra strength. Float out blown sections on walls. Bead and skim to a super flat super smooth super high finish.

I will not be beaten on quality or attention to detail.
