What happened next? 👀
We left New York on Sunday afternoon and, after a short 3-hour flight, landed in Orlando. Before long, we were in a taxi making the 25-minute journey to our home for the next six nights – Loews Royal Pacific Resort.
After a quick bag drop, we headed over to Universal CityWalk for dinner at Antojitos. Think Mexican food, watermelon margaritas 🍉🍹 and live music – the perfect start to our Orlando adventure. We called it an early-ish night because the next few days were set to be pretty full on!
Monday was all about Epic Universe, Universal’s newest theme park. We caught the first shuttle from the hotel at 8am and made the most of the resort guest perk of one-hour early park admission.
And wow... Epic Universe is on another level. The theming throughout the park is some of the best we’ve ever experienced.
For lunch, we ate at Das Stakehaus – and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was incredible, with an eerie violinist serenading diners while we ate. My chicken stake and salad were delicious 🤤 (see the photos!).

After leaving the park around 4pm, we headed to Vineland Premium Outlets. Yes... more shopping! 🛍️ We even had to buy another suitcase to get everything home. The luggage situation is officially getting out of control 🫣
We rounded off the day at Laguna Bar & Grill back at the hotel with pizza, salad and a long, ice-cold b**r 🍻
