Taken a few years ago while visiting my mom who lives in Gettys.
Overlooking Little Round Top from the road below.
I see this woman with dark hair sitting on rocks with hands clasped and wearing a dress.

This photo was shared by Fil Reid, who said it was taken during a holiday to Hadrian’s Wall in late September a few years ago.
Fil explained that she was walking with her husband, their son, and his partner at Milecastle 42. Her husband is usually careful not to capture strangers in his photos, so he took a few pictures when the area appeared empty.
Later, while looking back through the photos, they noticed a strange figure standing on the hilltop where they believed no one had been. When they enlarged the image, the figure seemed to resemble a Roman soldier.
Fil said the weather was windy and rainy that day, and they were alone at the site, which made the image feel even stranger.
For believers, it could look like the spirit of a Roman soldier near Hadrian’s Wall. For sceptics, it may simply be a distant walker, shadow, rock formation, blur, or pareidolia — where the mind sees a familiar shape in something unclear

My front door camera caught this figure standing near the porch at 2:13 AM, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since. Nothing was edited or retouched… do you think this is just a shadow, or was someone really there?

At 41 years old, Cindy Mullins—a mother of two—went in for what was expected to be a routine procedure related to kidney stones in 2023.
As part of her recovery, doctors placed a temporary stent and anticipated a normal healing process.
After returning home, she followed medical instructions and removed the stent herself.
But soon afterward, she began feeling seriously unwell.
Concerned, her husband found her collapsed at home and rushed her to the hospital.
Doctors quickly determined that she was experiencing a severe infection that had progressed rapidly and was affecting multiple organ systems.
Over the following days, medical teams worked tirelessly to stabilize her condition.
Although treatment helped save her life, the complications proved devastating.
As circulation and tissue damage worsened, doctors were faced with an extraordinarily difficult decision. To preserve her life, multiple limb amputations became necessary.
Today, Cindy says she is medically stable and focused on moving forward.
She continues adapting to what she describes as a “new normal,” facing each challenge with determination and resilience.
Her story is a powerful reminder of how quickly medical complications can develop—and of the remarkable strength people can find when rebuilding their lives after unimaginable setbacks

Oxford, England. December 14, 1650.

A 22-year-old servant named Anne Greene walked to the gallows believing her life was about to end.

She had been convicted after the loss of a premature pregnancy, despite testimony from a midwife and others who believed the child had never survived. Under the harsh laws of 17th-century England, the circumstances surrounding such cases were often judged with little compassion.

The sentence was carried out publicly before a crowd.

Hours later, Anne was placed in a coffin and transported to the University of Oxford, where physicians planned to examine her remains as part of medical study.

What happened next astonished everyone.

When doctors opened the coffin the following day, they noticed faint signs of life.

Instead of proceeding with their work, they immediately focused on helping her recover.

Using the medical knowledge available at the time, they warmed her body, encouraged circulation, and remained at her side for hours.

Slowly, Anne began responding.

Before long, she was able to speak.

Within days, she was recovering.

News of her survival spread rapidly across England.

Many people viewed it as a miracle. Others saw it as evidence that justice had failed. Whatever their interpretation, one question suddenly confronted the authorities:

What should happen when someone survives an ex*****on?

Public opinion shifted dramatically, and Anne was eventually granted a pardon.

Her remarkable story became one of the most talked-about events of the century. Pamphlets were published, crowds came to meet her, and physicians continued discussing her case for years afterward.

But perhaps the most extraordinary part of the story came after the headlines faded.

Anne recovered.

She married.

She had children.

She built a life.

The young woman who had been declared lost returned to ordinary life and lived for many years afterward.

Nearly four centuries later, Anne Greene's story remains one of history’s most extraordinary accounts of survival, resilience, and second chances.

A woman who was expected to become a footnote in history instead became one of its most unforgettable stories.

What do you see? A angry goats face?
It was a warm and sunny afternoon in the beginning of May 2020, when some roommates and I decided to go take some pics of the outside.
As we were leaving, I snapped one more shot of the side of the hotel. Now, when I was taking this pic, I know for a fact I didn't see anyone moving around in the part of the hotel. Or maybe I did?
I was zooming in on every angle to see if I would see anything, and seen this. Spookies.

I recently dug out this photograph from two years ago which was taken in London. I never knew I had this photo until few days ago after finding it on a memory stick. It was my 26th birthday, and my girlfriend had just gifted me this Canon film camera from 1984—something I'd always wanted. I decided to take it with me around London to shoot some film for the first time.
