Our Shoalbuster 𝗖𝗧 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 recently completed a successful double tow of two flattop barges (34m and 30m) from Fairlie, Scotland, to Oxelösund, Sweden.

Both barges were delivered without any delays and handed over smoothly to their new owners. On her return voyage, CT Prenton was captured near the Kiel Canal.

At the start of the year, our workboat 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 spent a few months on Scotland’s East Coast supporting 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗲 at Ardersier Port — a major redevelopment project by 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝘀 transforming the 450-acre site into a hub for offshore wind and energy.

We were proud to assist the cutter suction dredger 𝗱’𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗻 with deepening and widening the harbour and access channel. A project that required a very shallow draft workboat capable of handling anchors up to 4t.

With the dredging campaign now complete, 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 returned west via the Caledonian Canal and is back supporting more local projects this summer.

Our crew are working with the barge 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗻, carrying out nearshore digging to prepare for the subsea cable installation later in the project.

Proud to be part of this international effort!

The tugs operating on the Manchester Ship Canal have had a busy few months. The majority of tonnage we assist comes in and out of Stanlow Oil Refinery near Ellesmere Port.
