🚨 Save New Quay Car Park – We are not against development, we are purely against the location & the removal of parking in the village. 🚨

The proposed development on New Quay’s central car park isn’t just a local concern — it exposes a much wider issue affecting communities across Ceredigion. Ceredigion County Council has failed to update its Local Development Plan (LDP) since 2022, despite being legally required to do so. This delay means planning decisions are being made using outdated policies, putting vital community infrastructure like New Quay’s central car park at serious risk.

Without an up-to-date LDP, Ceredigion cannot meet housing needs responsibly, protect local economies, or plan sustainably for future generations.

We’re not against development — we’re calling for better planning, transparency, and protection of what makes our towns thrive.
