🐘 CLOSE-UP MOMENTS 🐘

📍 Mhondoro Safari Lodge, South Africa

One of the highlights of our safari was watching elephants come to drink at the saline pool right in front of our safari lodge 🐘✨

Imagine sitting down to breakfast on the deck, coffee in hand, when suddenly a herd of elephants appears, wandering over for a drink to quench their thirst.

An unforgettable moment ✨

🐓 BABYLONSTOREN 🐓

📍 Franschhoek, South Africa

There’s something very special about waking up at Babylonstoren and having the gardens, mountains and vineyards right on your doorstep.

We spent our days wandering around the grounds, visiting the donkeys, feeding the baby water buffalo and stopping for buffalo milk ice cream🐃🍦

It was peaceful and unhurried with everything centred around the farm. We could explore, eat well, slow down and just enjoy being there.

Babylonstoren was so much more than somewhere to stay, a little bubble of beautiful surroundings, good food and time to just enjoy being there.

🦁 AFRICA IS CALLING 🦁

In a few weeks I’ll embark on an extraordinary 15-day journey through South Africa and Zambia, from the exhilaration of safari, the dramatic beauty of Cape Town, the rolling vineyards of Franschhoek and finally the untamed splendour of Zambia. I’ll be staying at some truly exceptional properties along the way.

🌟 CLIENT REVIEW 🌟

Receiving reviews like this means so much.

This booking took place during a period of significant uncertainty in the region and unfortunately the original holiday had to be cancelled due to wider geopolitical events beyond anyone’s control. I’m delighted I was able to secure a full refund quickly and help find the right alternative for a family of five with three young children, who went on to have an incredible holiday together.

In a world of online booking platforms and automated customer service, I still believe there is real value in having a dedicated person you can simply pick up the phone to. Someone who understands your family, takes the stress away and is there to help when plans don’t go exactly as expected.

Thank you, Romeena and Mike, for your trust and kind words.
