It’s an exciting week here in the Wye Glamping household as on Wednesday we are expecting the arrival of our rescue puppy, Otis, coming all the way from Hungary.

We sadly lost our beloved Vizsla girl, Betty in January. She had been with us since the early days of Wye Glamping way back in 2013. Anyone who knows the Hungarian Vizsla breed knows that these guys get super attached to their owners. She literally followed me everywhere, and was great company, so has been sorely missed.

If you are staying with us in the next few weeks/months, you may get to meet the newest member of the family as I slowly introduce him to Glamping life. 🥰

Hay Markets are always worth a visit (on every Thursday) but the monthly Saturday ones are even better with a slightly festival feel.

One week to go! Saturday 6th April is the first monthly Hay Saturday Market of the season, then every first Saturday of the month through the summer.

We’re also buddying up with , as some of our wonderful flea traders will be setting up (their tented) shop in the Castle’s Honesty Bookshop.

The Welsh rain finally stopped long enough for us to enjoy a quick stomp up on to Velindre Common today, to blow away the cobwebs. We used to do this walk regularly but it’s been a while and it was so worth it for the panoramic views, beautiful, even on the drabbest of days.
