I have customers who have just arrived at Disneyland Paris for the Halloween Festival. They are staying at the Disneyland Hotel and celebrating a birthday while they are there.

Special assistance for the flight with wheelchair accessible transfers and rooms all arranged so they can have a frightfully fantastic time.

Have you been to Disney during Halloween? I would love to hear your favourite bits.

One week on from my first cruise and the bug has floored me....

The only cure is to book another! But do I sail again on the Bolette when it comes to the Tyne in 2027 or so I try something different?

Day 6. Our last day 🥹. I spent the morning packing my tiny suitcase. Squashing everything into vacuum bags and sitting on the case to close it! We sailed into Málaga port at lunch time and the weather was glorious. I celebrated with an ice-cream from the buffet while taking in the views and then had one final meal on board. The Poolside bar was my favourite place to have lunch while onboard. The menu slightly changes everyday, I recommend the burger, but today something lighter for the journey home. I took a few photos of my superior ocean view cabin before leaving the ship for the airport. Málaga airport was busy but there were hardly any queues in security and we sailed through the EES gates. We landed in Manchester airport and had the long slog to the train station. I missed my connecting train by minutes so I had to do a very brisk and wet walk through the city centre from Piccadilly to Victoria to catch my train home.

Stand out moment of the day had to be sailing into Málaga port, ice-cream in hand with the sun shining.

A huge thank you to Fred Olsen for giving me this experience and the head office team who hosted us. The crew on the Bolette who are the most happy, friendly and welcoming people and a real credit to the company. I am already looking at sailing with them again when the Bolette comes to the Tyne next year.

Day 5. Our last full day on the beautiful Bolette. I was up early to watch the sun rise and took way too many photos, but the colours were stunning. I then had breakfast at the restaurant with a great view before heading to a psychology talk. At lunch time we arrived in Cadiz and what a place! We loved wandering the streets, shopping, drinking w**e in the square in front of the church and visiting the local market. After lunch at one of the tapas bars in the market we wandered to the beach and then back to the ship. We dined at the speciality restaurant Colours & Tastes and it was grill night. My steak was delicious as was the pudding, a great treat on board if you fancy a change. This is an extra charge but well worth it. We finished the night at the silent disco, which was so much fun, but not if you took off your headphones 🤣

Stand out moment of the day. It had to be having a glass of w**e in the square and the silent disco!

Day 4. Land ahoy! We sailed into Lisbon port just as the sun was rising. Incredible views coming into the city and we were very excited for dry land. We went on a tuk tuk city tour and it's not for the faint hearted! Bumps, hills, twists and turns with stops for amazing view points across the city. We then wandered into the city stopping for a pastel de nata and then lunch and drinks. We headed back to ship to soak up some sun while sailing out of Lisbon. This time, after the evening meal I headed out onto the deck for a star gazing talk. After 20 mins of adjusting to the dark, the sky was so clear and we saw Saturn and many constellations. It was a really lovely way to finish the day, lying on the sunbeds looking up at the stars.

Stand out moment of the day. Having lunch and drinks in the heart of the busy streets of Lisbon in the sun with street entertainment.
