❤️🌊 POLPERRO FIRST-TIMER'S GUIDE – AS RECOMMENDED BY YOU! 🌊❤️
Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed. We've loved reading all your tips, favourite spots, hidden gems and memories of Polperro 😊
For anyone planning their first visit, here are some of the most popular recommendations from locals and regular visitors:
📍 Bring cash for parking (this may have been mentioned once or twice! 😄)
🥾 Walk the South West Coast Path from Looe, Talland Bay or Killigarth for those unforgettable first views of the village
🌅 Watch the sunrise from the clifftops
🌊 Visit the tidal pool and take in the coastline
📸 Carry a camera everywhere
🏡 Explore every lane, alleyway and hidden corner
🍺 Enjoy a pint at The Blue Peter Inn
🍻 Visit The Ship, Three Pilchards and the British Legion
🎵 Catch the Fishermen's Choir or Polperro Wreckers if they're performing
🦞 Sample the local seafood
🍕 Try Turntable Pizza
🍦 Keep a close eye on your crepes, pasties and ice creams... the seagulls certainly will!
🚶 Slow down and don't rush
❤️ Most importantly — take it all in.
One thing that comes through again and again in the comments is that Polperro isn't somewhere to tick off a list. It's somewhere to wander, explore, sit by the harbour, watch the boats, enjoy the views and make memories.
And if you're staying a little longer, don't forget East Cliff Cottage 😊
🌊 Stunning sea views across the coastline
🌊 Peaceful position above the harbour
🌊 Seconds from the sea via the steps
🚗 Summer parking included for guests (winter parking available on enquiry)
🌅 The perfect place to wake up and watch the sea
It's exactly the combination of views, location and atmosphere that made us fall in love with it ourselves ❤️
What would YOUR one piece of advice be for somebody visiting Polperro for the first time?
