Next Saturday we'll be welcoming over 2000 Rat Racers to the biggest-ever edition of our legendary Wall ultramarathon! If you missed out on a spot for the sell-out 2026 event, then make sure you're on the waiting list to be first to grab a space for June 2027!

With 26 hours to complete the 70-mile route, this event is designed for both runners and walkers. With generous cut-offs, fully stocked Pit Stops and next-level support from our crew, staff and volunteers, this is the perfect first step into ultramarathon territory for those new to the world beyond 26.2.

That buckle has your name on...

If you've been keeping a close eye on Instagram over the past few days, you'll know our HQ crew have been put through their paces as they've tested out the brand new Glamis to Stirling route, the final adventure in the Rat Race 100 Castle to Castle series! The team gave it everything they had and Scotland handed it all right back to them, finishing times varied from 26 hours to 44 with Rob and Danni walking the whole thing. Check out the highlights on Instagram to relive their journey.

This brutal but beautiful route that we've dubbed 'the hardest one' skirts the edge of the mighty Cairngorms, before rolling through the famous Highland towns of Pitlochry and Aberfeldy. From there, the route winds towards Loch Tay before turning south into a finale of classic bumpy Scottish terrain, finishing in style at our last magnificent castle, Stirling.

It's the moment we know many of you have been waiting for... the reveal of the 4th and final castle in the now legendary Rat Race 100 Castle to Castle series is in just 4 days...

At 8am next Tuesday morning, our HQ crew will be taking to the start line at Glamis Castle, ready to test out a brand new 100 route once again. In 2025, Events Administrator Hannah finished all 100 miles having never walked more than 11.8 miles before. She well and truly proved that with the right mindset, a chunk of stubbornness and the right support, you really can achieve the extraordinary.

You'll be able to follow us live throughout their journey over on Instagram and sign up for any of the 2027 adventures yourself when entries open at 10am on Friday 22nd May after the Test Pilot has concluded.

3 reasons to put Race to the Wreck Namibia at the top of your Bucket List 👇

🏜 The dunes are nothing short of spectacular!
There’s something incredibly special about being surrounded by some of the biggest sand dunes on Earth and it’s not something you can really describe. As cheesy as it sounds, it is something you feel. It’s this feeling that has led to this adventure being many of our Crew’s all-time favourite event. You can’t quite put your finger on it, but this place takes hold of your heart like no other.

Big dune day as it’s become known on day 4 packs in over 9000ft of ascent into 43km. It’s an exhilarating and exhaustingly long day on foot with over 21 dune formations, but the scenery? Second to none.

⛺ You'll camp under the stars each evening.
When you're this far off-grid, you're certainly not expecting a fully kitted-out campsite to appear amongst the dunes, but our Namibian team have got it covered! Each day you'll arrive to your pre-pitched tent with camping mattress which is transported for you each day along with your overnight bag. There's toilet tents with chemical loos and even a hot shower set up at some camps too! And to top it off there's a full catering set-up with breakfast and dinner buffets laid out for you every morning and evening!

Temperatures in the evening are perfect for sitting out under the stars by the fire, which brings everyone together at the end of each day. With no phones and distractions and the ‘Wrecked’ bar open for orders, this makes for great team-bonding camps where many a new adventure buddy is found!

☀ You’ll get to experience such a huge contrast to anything you've ever done before.
Soaring temperatures in the desert create a whole host of different challenges to contend with compared to what you're used to at home. The desert is hot and dry, meaning keeping on top of your hydration and salts and protecting yourself from the direct sun is key to success! It's a chance to really take on something outside your comfort zone, amongst the most vast, stunning and surreal scenery you've ever witnessed.
