Marsden and Slaithwaite are a quick 30 mins from the cottage and just like Calderdale the Coln Valley has some wonderful walks that go over fields, moors and some gentle sections on the canal on the return. I’ve popped the route in the cottage for future guests to enjoy.

Both villages have lovely cafes, shops and pubs to relax with a beer, coffee or lunch 1/2way round or at the end.
