An update for anyone following is on social media and have stayed with us before over the years ..

We’ve decided to sell the cottage so we won’t be taking any bookings from now on.

Thank you to everyone that has stayed with us and visited our lovely town. Greatly appreciated!

It’s simply time to focus on our other businesses and hopefully a buyer enjoys the property as much as we have!

As we close in on the end of the year it’s time for some maintenance jobs .. we have availability this November and December but a few short stays already booked out.

While it’s been dry it was time to pressure wash the paving and tidy up the small planters.

We’ve got a few small odd TLC jobs internal and for those that have noticed we’ll be adding some acoustic panel inserts to the front windows to help reduce the road side noise.

Calendar available for next year if you wish to get a shirt or long stay booked early.

If you didn’t already know 59 ‘Weaver’s Cottage’ Westgate is a Grade 2 listed building .. listed back in 1975 as a group of properties with significant local and national interest .. ‘brick row’ as it’s known locally is a group of old brick terraces houses built for miners.

We renovated the property in 2019 .. kept a lot of its identity but have also decorated it with a modern feel.
