"Great location not isolated at the same time offering privacy for a large family holiday. Its very evident that the owners are constantly professionally maintaining the house, and taking much pride in their Holiday rental's with every detail cared for. it feels like a brand new House"

Some fantastic feedback from a recent guest who enjoyed their stay with us:

“The accommodation was brilliant, no faults at all. The cutlery and crockery was plentyfull, which was great. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need. The bedrooms were beautiful and linen was to a very high standard, as duvets. We loved the space and location. We are going to book again, but we are just waiting on the numbers again. The BBQ area was lovely , we didn’t have time to use the pizza oven, but next time, definitely. We have recommended the house to another family, and she is booking for September,if it’s free. We can only say a Big THANAK YOU to the lady that met on on the day, she was lovely. Thank you again.”

It really means a lot to us when we know that we’ve had guests enjoy their time together and our place made that possible 🥰

Thank you to Jocasta for this recent review .......21 of us had a lovely weekend at the Big White House. It is really well-equipped for large groups and in a great location, especially for parkrun tourists like us as there are half a dozen within an easy driving distance. We also enjoyed walking - some at the coast, some on the fells & some to the local pub, the Mason's Arms, which offered a friendly welcome.

"Absolutely great weekend. The house is so lovely and really reasonably priced.
It was a little cold when we arrived but the time of the year it was to be expected. Philip turned the heating right up and it was really cosy.
I cannot recommend this place enough to spend time with family or friends. We had a great time! Thank you Phil!"
