Gone Green Gifts from Nature by Denise I, Denise Phillip started my journey in the tourism business over 25 years ago. I had a shop out on Grand Anse under a seagrape tree.

I was one of the original beach vendors on Grand Anse beach. I met a lot of wonderful visitors back then, but my life on the beach was tough. I had to carry my goods that I sold back and forth from the beach to my home. But in 1998, the government built the Grand Anse Spice and Craft Market. I was allowed to have a shop there. But as the years went by and changes that were happening around the wor

ld, made me change my way of thinking. So over 3 years ago, I decided to make a bold change in my life. I threw away my plastic, and I have GONE GREEN!

Catch of the day- This piece seems appropriate for this time of the year- a medallion of the Virgin Mary. Also an old copper Grenadian coin from 1965. Stopped production in the 1980s.
