Gone Green Gifts from Nature by Denise I, Denise Phillip started my journey in the tourism business over 25 years ago. I had a shop out on Grand Anse under a seagrape tree.

I was one of the original beach vendors on Grand Anse beach. I met a lot of wonderful visitors back then, but my life on the beach was tough. I had to carry my goods that I sold back and forth from the beach to my home. But in 1998, the government built the Grand Anse Spice and Craft Market. I was allowed to have a shop there. But as the years went by and changes that were happening around the wor

ld, made me change my way of thinking. So over 3 years ago, I decided to make a bold change in my life. I threw away my plastic, and I have GONE GREEN!

Catch of the day- a thick frosty heavy piece of seaglass robin egg blue in color. Also, throwing in the rare pink bottom piece. It's not a catch of the day because it isn't as we say "cooked" but pink in color is extremely rare.

A message from Angie- if anyone wants to challenge their driving and navigation skills they should come to Curacao! Lots of one way streets and if you can find the sign, it's in Dutch. We have driven around here so lost that you would think that we should know where we're are going, but NO!! But we have found around 100 lbs of seaglass so that makes up for the madness! Hello Gone Green friends, it's been awhile! But we are back in action! Angie and I decided to look for seaglass in a different location and we chose Curacao and it hasn't disappointed! And so here is the catch of the day- the seaglass gods gave Angie a late birthday gift and gave her this small torpedo bottle. What a find!
