Booking your vacation early is a great start, but what happens AFTER you pay that deposit?

One of the biggest advantages of booking in advance is having time to spread out your payments instead of facing a large balance right before your trip.

Life happens, expenses come up, and even with payment reminders, deadlines can sneak up on you!

My advice? Create a payment plan as soon as you book. Whether you pay monthly, biweekly, or set money aside each payday, choose a schedule that works for your budget.

Remember, final-payment extensions aren’t guaranteed, and missing your deadline could put your reservation at risk.

Book early. Pay along the way. Travel with less stress.

Eight years ago today, I started Dupree Destinations.

On September 27, 2018, I took an idea I believed in and turned it into a business. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping people celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, family milestones, and the simple joy of getting away.

Travel has always meant more to me than booking a trip. I love helping people understand their options, feel confident in their choices, and discover what’s possible beyond what they already know. That’s why I call myself the Teacher of Travel.

To every Dupree Explorer who has trusted me with a trip, shared my business, referred a friend, or followed along: thank you. You’ve been part of these eight years, and I’m grateful.
