What are the Georgians to be proud of, who are these Georgians, what have we given to the world and why do we think that we are better than others?

1. Human remains, which are about 1.8 million years old, were discovered in 1991 in Dmanis, Georgia. These are the oldest human remains found in Europe. Georgians gave rise to the white-skinned race.

2. Georgia is the homeland of vines and wine. This is confirmed by historical, archaeological, ethnographic materials, as well as literary monuments. During the archeological excavations in the territory of Kvemo Kartli, grape pods were found, which were planted in BC. It belongs to the 7th-6th millennia. In addition, a cellar from the Eneolithic period has been discovered on the territory of Georgia. There are more than 500 grape varieties in Georgia.

3. Georgia is also the homeland of wheat. There are 27 types of wheat in the world. 23 of them are cultural species. Out of these 23, 14 are Georgian wheat varieties. Georgian wheat varieties have unique properties: resistance to frost, resistance to drought and stable yield.

4. Georgian archaeologists, near the village of Sakire, Borjomi region, at the foot of the Kodiani mountain, discovered a cave dating back to the middle of the third millennium. As a result of archeological excavations, two pots of honey were discovered, which are almost 14 centuries older than the famous honey found in Tutankhamun's tomb. Korgan is 5500 years old.

5. So far, the oldest thread, made of nettle, was found in the Czech Republic and its age was dated to 29 thousand years. However, material taken from a 32,000-year-old layer in Georgia clearly shows human-made flax particles.

6. There are more than 7000 languages ​​in the world, and there are 14 scripts in total.
