🚫 Things NOT to Do in Tbilisi, Georgia
1. Don’t disrespect religion
Churches are taken seriously.

❌ Don’t wear shorts, sleeveless tops, or mini skirts inside churches.

❌ Don’t talk loudly or take selfies during prayers.

Women may be asked to cover their head—carry a scarf just in case.

2. Don’t overtrust taxis (especially without apps)
Avoid random street taxis.

❌ Don’t get in without agreeing on price first.

Use Bolt or Yandex Go only (very cheap and safe).

3. Don’t assume everyone speaks English
Young people usually do.

Older locals may only speak Georgian or Russian.

❌ Don’t get frustrated—use Google Translate politely.

4. Don’t exchange money at shady places
❌ Avoid street money changers.

Use banks or official exchange offices.

Always count cash before leaving the counter.

5. Don’t drink tap water blindly
In Tbilisi it’s generally safe, but bottled water is recommended for newcomers.

6. Don’t disrespect national pride
Georgians are proud of their history.

11. Don’t expect nightlife to be like Dubai or Europe
Clubs exist, but rules are stricter.
