Day Six was a journey into culture and identity. From learning the intricate art of Batik Tie & Dye to receiving powerful new names in a sacred naming ceremony, we reconnected deeply with our roots. Each name given told a story of spirit, purpose, and legacy. A truly unforgettable day. 🌍✨

Elmina Castle stands as a haunting reminder of our past. Through the dungeons, condemned cells, and the Door of No Return, we retraced the painful steps of our ancestors. This was more than history, it was a moment of remembrance, reflection, and honor for their unbroken spirit. We remember. We reflect. We rise.

A Journey of Remembrance and Return 🌧️🕊️We walked the sacred grounds of Assin Manso, where our ancestors took their last bath before being led to the coast. Through rain, ritual, and reflection, we felt their presence, honored their spirit, and declared with pride… “We are back home.”

We arrived at Assin Manso Slave Market & River, one of the most emotional and powerful stops on our journey. This is where our ancestors took their last bath before being sold into slavery; a moment that reminds us of our strength, our pain, and our resilience.
