Madam Olivia Yawa Aglago Visits Contender in Show of Unity

Madam Olivia Yawa Aglago, the newly elected Oti Regional Women’s Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has paid a courtesy call on her contender in the 2026 Oti Regional Executive Elections, Madam Alice Adwoa Mensah, in a move aimed at fostering unity and reconciliation within the party.
Madam Olivia contested the Oti Regional Women’s Organizer position against Madam Alice Adwoa Mensah and emerged victorious in the elections.
During the visit, Madam Olivia called on Madam Alice to put aside their differences arising from the just-ended elections and work together for the advancement of the party. She emphasized that their shared interest is to see the NPP regain political power and, therefore, called on Madam Alice to bring her experience, knowledge, and ideas to support the success of her administration.
Madam Alice Adwoa Mensah warmly accepted the call for unity and pledged her full support towards building a strong and successful Oti Regional Women’s Wing. She expressed her commitment to working with the new Regional Women’s Organizer in the collective interest of the party.
The visit is seen as a significant step towards healing and strengthening relationships among party members following the regional elections, while promoting teamwork ahead of the party’s future political engagements.
Madam Olivia Yawa Aglago was accompanied by Dr. Frank Awuah, the Oti Regional Secretary; Stephen Obikyenbi Junior, Secretary to the Regional Women’s Organizer; and a host of other party members.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with both women reaffirming their commitment to unity, cooperation, and the collective goal of strengthening the NPP in the Oti Region.
