Fifteen years old physically challenged girl from Hanbagnikole in the Wa east district of the upper west region is calling on philanthropists to support her with a wheel chair.
Ernestina Dari did four years in school, but owing to her mobility disability and related health conditions she could not continue her education. Like many schools in underserved communities in rural Ghana, special education is not available to many pupils with exceptional needs.
She is willing and has stated to learn a skill from a seamstress in a nearby community. Her current challenge is how to literally crawl some kilometers on day to day basis learning dressmaking. Radio progress news gathered in an interview that her sewing machine recently got problematic.
Ernestina Dari is appealing to benevolent persons or organization to provide her a wheel chair to lessen the burden.
