Introducing... me! 
 
Hello everyone, my name is Lucy 🙋🏻‍♀️and I am the manager of Short Lets Gibraltar and am an Airbnb Superhost 🌟. 

I have over 30 years of experience managing properties in the UK, Spain, and Gibraltar 🇬🇮.
 
I started my career after graduating with a BSc (Hons) degree in Estate Management 🏘️and had a variety of jobs, including working for Hambros Countrywide and the Chartered Institute for Building.
 
I moved to Spain in the year 2000 and settled in the picturesque municipality of Manilva in the Malaga province 🔆. My husband commuted to Gibraltar every day, and I was fortunate to secure a position at a local estate agency in Puerto de la Duquesa, and again a few years later at Barrington Homes in Sabinillas Manilva 💕. These experiences allowed me to gain profound insights into the property and holiday market on the stunning Costa del Sol, Spain🏖️.
 
We fell in love with Manilva, its stunning countryside, culture and people and were lucky enough to be blessed with two wonderful children who were both born in Spain. 
 
In 2015, our family moved to Gibraltar, and we have been residing here ever since. Whilst looking for somewhere to live in Gibraltar I was offered an opportunity to work with Chestertons Gibraltar and have just completed my 10th summer season managing short lets for them!🏠
 
I love my job as I get to meet interesting people from all around the world and help them enjoy their time in Gibraltar and the surrounding area 🪨 I didn’t realise until I started living and managing short lets here what a popular holiday destination Gibraltar is and how much love so many people have for the place. I have many regular guests who visit two or three times a year!  I would recommend people come and visit Gibraltar because it is a unique, interesting and welcoming place with an incredible history, beautiful scenery and a fantastic climate.
