On Chios west coast, between the beaches of Trachili and Elinta, lies the small, secluded beach of Giali. Set amidst a stunning landscape, it gives the impression that the earth parted to create this narrow inlet of sea. Its waters are clear and always calm. The beach features a mix of sand and pebbles. To reach it, you follow a dirt road that branches off the main road, 5 kilometers past the port of Mesta and approximately 1 kilometer from Elinta Beach 🔶

Slow living in Anafi, Cyclades, Greece 🇬🇷

She spread out the sheets to dry under the hot midday sun and then sat with her coffee under the castle of Chora, with the little chapel of Agios Georgios nearby. The Aegean stretched endlessly before her, the sheets danced gently in the breeze and for a moment, nothing else mattered. Just the sunlight, the salt in the air, the freshly laundered sheets, a cat that had brought her two little newborn kittens and the peace and quiet that you only find on a small Greek island 🔶
