The Old Town of Alonissos is one of the most beautiful traditional villages in the Sporades. Perched on a hill overlooking the Aegean, its stone houses, narrow cobbled streets, colorful flowers, and panoramic sea views create a magical atmosphere. Once the island’s capital, it was lovingly restored after the 1965 earthquake and today offers visitors a glimpse of authentic Greek island life, especially during sunset.
