Food Lovers of the World This page is a platform to my dream... of appreciating and sharing information about the various types of food and cuisine that exists out there.

It was a dream that had somehow found itself in the backburner (pun intended) but now no longer. Work and wanderlust takes me places. And when I go places, I eat!!! Yes...!! Do I eat!! Want to try out all local cuisine and all sorts of ingredients. If people out there are eating it, I don't mind trying it out myself. Not always have those experiments resulted in successes... sometime I did regret

a few such adventures. But what is life without such risks? And when I like a dish, it becomes a restless follow on till the itme I am able to re-create it - mostly adding a few of my personal touches to them - sometime due to improvisation and sometimes due to replacements (of unavailable ingredients). I am sure there are others out there who share this same passion.. and guess what we can create if all such food maniacs come together!! That's what I want.. that's what you can help me achieve...! So ... all you "foodies" out there... let's eat.. and then cook.. and then eat more...

The quintessential Egg Roll. Anyone from Kolkata will identify with and swear by this delicious and filling honeymoon of eggs, flatbread and freshcut salad (cucumber, onion, tomatoes and green chillies). Add a dash of fresh lemon juice and you have a winner at hand (pun intended).

Was fortunate to visit "Rei Do Gado" (translates to king of cattle) in San Diego. This is a Brazilian Steak House in Gas Lamp District in downtown San Diego.
The concept is very simple - you pay for the buffet and the servers keep serving you all different cuts of different varieties of meat - till the time you stuff yourself so much that you can't even gulp a digestive pill!!!
