Add this to your next Bali family trip. Roarr into a real-life Jurassic Park at Taman Safari’s Night Safari!
If you want an experience that will simultaneously delight and ignight a pang of fear, this is a must-do when in Bali. We absolutely loved this experience (even the ones who were reluctant to go to a Zoo for a Safari).
Here is how to survive and make the most of your night in the jungle full of predators.
Our Tips:
●The Ultimate is the Night Safari: This is the absolute best time to watch nocturnal, carnivorous lions and tigers that are active in the dark. You also get dinner included as well as some other activities like the fire dance performance with the night safari.
● Dinner with a View: Make sure to eat inside the dining hall. The massive glass windows look directly out onto the lions and lionesses roaming around while you eat. We didn’t know and dined outside. But we don't won't you to make that mistake.
● The Toilet Surprise: You must visit the dining hall bathroom! We looked out the toilet window and a lioness was sitting right next to it, staring back at us.
● Cage Selfie Thrills: Take a selfie with the big cats when they jump directly onto your safari cage! The sheer size of the tiger that leaped onto our cage was unforgettable.
● Safety First: Keep your hands, fingers, and body well away from the edges of the cage at all times. Listen to the rangers.
● Its an interactive safari where you get to feed some herbivores. So grab a carrot and feed those hangry mouths.
● Don't Miss the Fire Show: A spectacular way to cap off a thrilling night.
✨ Our Personal Highlights: Locking eyes with the majestic white Bengali tiger, Anjani, was pretty special and will never forget the roars we heard while dining outside not knowing they were actual lions roaring.
