Some of you may have noticed a small change on the Behind The Seas page. Photography remains at the heart of this project, but from now on I'd like to invite you not only to see Greece through my lens, but to experience it alongside me.
What I offer today—private, curated experiences across Crete and Greece—didn't begin yesterday.
Behind The Seas has been evolving for the past eight years. From the very beginning, I wanted to share Greece differently. Not through catalogues or standard itineraries, but through the perspective of someone who truly lives, explores, and experiences these places.
When I moved to Crete, that vision became even clearer.
I made a conscious decision not to rush into opening a travel business. Instead, I wanted to spend years getting to know the island—its rhythm, its hidden corners, and the places that rarely appear on typical tourist routes.
As a professional photographer, I had the privilege of working with some of the largest travel companies, creating images and promotional content across Greece, including Crete and Santorini. Yet the places that fascinated me most were always those beyond the obvious—the quiet roads, the changing light, and the moments that can't be experienced on a fixed schedule.
That's how Behind The Seas was truly born.
Today, I'm excited to invite you not only to see these places through my photographs, but to experience them with me.
My first collection of curated experiences across Crete is now available, together with a brand-new Santorini journey—designed not as a rushed day trip, but as a carefully planned experience focused on atmosphere, timing, and discovering the island beyond the crowds.
Over the coming weeks, I'll also be introducing new adventures designed especially for photography enthusiasts, off-road explorers, and anyone looking to discover Greece from a different perspective.

Być może część z Was zauważyła już niewielką zmianę na profilu Behind The Seas. Fotografia pozostaje jego sercem, ale od teraz mogę zaprosić Was nie tylko do oglądania Grecji moimi oczami, lecz także do wspólnego jej odkrywania.
To, że dziś pokazuję Kretę i Grecję w formie autorskich wycieczek, nie zaczęło się jednak wczoraj.
Projekt Behind The Seas dojrzewał przez ostatnie 8 lat — jeszcze zanim na dobre zamieszkałem na Krecie. Już wtedy miałem jedną myśl: że chcę pokazywać Grecję tak, jak ja ją widzę. Nie przez katalogi i gotowe programy, tylko z perspektywy kogoś, kto naprawdę żyje tym miejscem.
Kiedy przeprowadziłem się na wyspę, ta idea zaczęła nabierać konkretnego kształtu.
Świadomie zdecydowałem wtedy, że nie pójdę na skróty i nie otworzę od razu „biura turystycznego”. Chciałem najpierw dobrze poznać wyspę, jej rytm i miejsca, które nie pojawiają się w standardowych programach.
Przez lata fotografowałem Kretę dla biur podróży i projektów komercyjnych, ale zawsze najbardziej interesowały mnie miejsca poza głównym szlakiem — tam, gdzie widać jej prawdziwy charakter.
I z tego powstało Behind The Seas.
Dziś ruszam oficjalnie z autorskimi wycieczkami na Krecie — od klasycznych tras po dni szyte na miarę, gdzie tempo i program dopasowujemy do ludzi, a nie odwrotnie.
Pojawiła się też pierwsza wyprawa na Santorini — zaplanowana inaczej niż standardowe wycieczki, z większym naciskiem na światło, czas i spokojniejsze doświadczenie wyspy.
W kolejnych tygodniach będą dochodzić kolejne propozycje, szczególnie dla osób, które lubią fotografię i odkrywanie Grecji poza utartym szlakiem.
