A few selected moments from REWIND, the dance performance by the students of Akropoditi Dance & Performing Arts Centre in Syros.

Through movement, music, and storytelling, the performance took the audience on a journey through the history and culture of Syros — from the arrival of the first Greek refugees after 1821 to Ermoupoli today.
A beautiful evening full of memory, emotion, and creativity.

A beautiful sunset, the sound of the sea, and even a magical encounter with a turtle made this moment feel truly special. The nature here is absolutely amazing — peaceful, wild, and full of life.

Lotos Beach in Syros is one of those places that feels calm from the moment you arrive. Just next to Kini, it offers clear blue water, a peaceful bay, natural shade from tamarisk trees, and a relaxed atmosphere away from the busier beaches.

What a weekend.

Summer is definitely here in Syros, and Galissas Beach has been full of life. The cafés and restaurants are filling up, sunbeds and umbrellas are slowly being taken, but there’s still plenty of space if you prefer to lie down on the sand with your towel or blanket.

Sometimes, between those lazy beach moments, you realise how simple and beautiful summer can be here.
