【社會創新挑戰賽 四大共融議題得獎者誕生】
由港鐵公司主辦嘅「社會創新挑戰賽」於 5 月18 日喺東華三院東蒲圓滿舉行🎊!12 支晉級隊伍以創新提案,展現對社會議題嘅深刻見解🔎,靈活運用港鐵網絡同連繫社區嘅優勢,提出兼具創意與可行性嘅共融方案,為推動社會共融注入無限可能✨。
三間學校憑藉出色表現脫穎而出:基督教香港信義會宏信書院、伊斯蘭脫維善紀念中學及嘉諾撒聖方濟各書院分別奪得四大共融議題冠軍🏆。四大主題分別聚焦於傷健共融,為不同能力人士改善現有環境;多元族裔,促進不同文化嘅理解與尊重;性別平等,提倡導消除性別歧視與不平等;以及跨代關係,強調不同年齡層之間嘅交流與合作,旨在創造更包容與和諧嘅社會。
🔷港鐵公司法律及管治總監馬琳女士🔷讚揚同學們嘅表現:「計劃讓參加者透過與導師及社區團體嘅交流及創意驗證,深入認識各項社會議題。我好高興同學們可以活用喺計劃中所學到嘅知識及技能提出創新方案,解決社會議題,而唔少建議亦與公司致力推動社會共融及城市可持續發展理念一致。」
今次賽事得以成功,有賴多位專業評審嘅寶貴意見,包括🔷港鐵公司環境及社會責任總經理黃嘉盈女士🔷、🔷MakerBay Foundation執行董事陳思朗先生🔷、🔷平等機會委員會高級平等機會主任(少數族裔事務組)何永強先生🔷,以及各合作機構嘅鼎力支持,佢哋嘅參與為比賽帶來更豐富嘅跨界視角。

【Social Innovation Challenge: Winners of the Four Key Inclusion Themes Announced🌟】
The "Social Innovation Challenge," organised by the MTR Corporation, successfully concluded on 18 May at Tung Wah Group of Hospitals’ Tung Pui Community Hall! 🎊 Twelve finalist teams showcased their innovative proposals, demonstrating profound insight into social issues.🔎 They leveraged the community connections provided by the MTR network to propose inclusive solutions that were both imaginative and practical, opening up limitless possibilities for advancing social inclusion. ✨
Three schools stood out for their outstanding performances: ELCHK Lutheran Academy, Islamic Kasim Tuet Memorial College, and St. Francis’ Canossian College, and were selected as the champions for the four key social inclusion themes 🏆. These themes focused on: 💡disability inclusion – improving the environment for individuals with different capabilities; 💡ethnic diversity – fostering understanding and respect for different cultures; 💡gender equality – advocating for the elimination of gender discrimination and inequality;💡intergenerational relationships – emphasising communication and collaboration between different age groups. The aim is to create a more inclusive and harmonious society.💞
🔷Ms. Gill Meller, Legal & Governance Director of MTR Corporation🔷, praised the students' performance: “This programme offered participants valuable opportunities to deepen their understanding of social topics through interaction with mentors and community organisations as well as the process of creative validation. I am pleased to see the students effectively applying the knowledge and skills they gained from the programme to conceive innovative solutions to important social challenges, with many of the proposals aligning with the Corporation’s aspiration of promoting social inclusion and the sustainable development of the city.”
