In Med school we are taught that in practice, do the best one can for the patient as per our training and experience, without being attached to whether you will get recognition for it.
26 years into practice, this happens!
Honestly, when she first told me, I had tears in my eyes.
To remember and acknowledge over a decade later speaks volumes of the author, the depth of her sincerity, her personality and dedication to the cause. As physicians we can give the best advice and only the wise will pick up the information and use it.
Not enough can be said about Stephanie Ng, her work in different continents is already empowering young minds and bodies. Her book 'Big Bites Break Boundaries' about her own journey to health and true happiness is available online and in book stores. A must read to understand the struggles of today's world of young people. Most strength to your cause Steph. @ Body Banter
