Hong Kong’s beloved “ding ding” trams have been rolling through the streets since 1904, making them one of the oldest electric tram systems still in operation today.
In the early days, factory workers, students, and families would hop aboard these open-air, wooden-seated trams to get to school, work, or the market. For just a few cents, they were part of the heartbeat of the city.
Today, these double-decker icons still glide along the same tracks—preserving the rhythm and stories of old Hong Kong, one bell ring at a time.
