Being a geographer who recently resided in Phnom Penh, I found this interesting. The 1921 map hangs in the lobby of 240 Residence/Enso cafe in Phnom Penh, which is a very good restaurant by the way.

The Covid-19 pandemic is just the latest in a series of epidemics that have shaped Hong Kong. Malaria, influenza, cholera, the bubonic plague, SARS – all have left their mark on the city.
