There are cities you visit… and then there are cities you feel.
For me, Istanbul is the latter.
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been here, yet every arrival feels like the first. There’s something deeply personal in the connection I have with this city—it continues to surprise me, inspire me, and welcome me in a way that’s hard to describe.
What stands out most is the people. The level of hospitality here is simply extraordinary. I often say that the Turkish people have a PhD in hospitality—and I truly mean it.
From taxi drivers to waiters, from shop owners to market vendors—there’s a genuine warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to help that you feel everywhere.
And then… there are places that elevate this experience even further.
The Peninsula Istanbul is one of them.
Set along the Bosphorus, this property is more than just a hotel—it’s an experience of precision, beauty, and true care. From the moment you enter, every detail feels intentional. Materials, design, service, atmosphere… everything is simply impeccable.
It has, without a doubt, become my favorite place to stay in Istanbul.
And I genuinely cannot wait to start sending my clients here—because this is not just a stay, it’s a feeling they will remember.
