Yes, it was a cloudy night and I still got to shoot the Milky Way. The colorful cloud type formations around the stars at the top right is the start of the Milky Way Galaxy.

I wanted to shoot more as the Milky Way set in more as the night progressed, but was more interested in diving into the water which was surprisingly warm.

They say bad weather makes up for good photos! This was definitely true for this night. I walked out of our resort at night in search of some photos into a threatening rainstorm but due to heavy winds most of the clouds got washed away, revealing all the stars, which I decided to capture eventually in this form.
