A KÉK Városi Séták a Kortárs Építészeti Központ egyik legrégebbi projektje. A kezdetektől fogva fontosnak tartottuk a városi környezet bemutatását, és ezáltal a helyi lakosok mélyebb elköteleződésének elősegítését az épített környezetük iránt. Ennek kapcsán már 15 éve szervezünk tematikus, építészeti városi sétákat budapestiek és turisták számára egyaránt, ahol elfeledett vagy eddig nem ismert ép
ítészeti értékeket mutatunk meg a nagyközönségnek, bemutatva a várost a szecessziótól a kortárs építészetig. Bárhol a világon. Akár itt, Budapesten is. Sétálás közben lehetőségünk nyílik városi kontextusban vizsgálni az épületeket, a helyi viszonyok pontosabb ismerete pedig új perspektívát nyit az épített örökség felfedezésére, értékelésére és fenntartására. KÉK Urban Walks is one of the oldest projects of the Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre. From the very beginning, we have always felt it was important to showcase the urban environment and thereby foster a deeper engagement of local residents with their built environment. In this context, for the past 15 years we have been organising thematic architectural urban walks for residents and tourists alike, where we show our public forgotten or previously unknown architectural treasures, introducing the city from Art Nouveau to contemporary architecture. A good walk is one of the best ways to get to know a city. Anywhere in the world. Even here in Budapest. Walking around gives you the opportunity to examine buildings in an urban context, and a better understanding of the local context opens up a new perspective on the discovery, appreciation and preservation of the built heritage. Budapest is a wonder! It is worth knowing why. And if you can see Budapest through different lens, you will see everything in a new perspective wherever you go in the world.
