The 48th Bali Arts Festival (Pesta Kesenian Bali) starts today, 13 June, and runs through to 11 July 2026.

This month-long celebration of Balinese art, dance, and culture is held primarily at the Taman Werdhi Budaya Art Center and the Bajra Sandhi Monument in Denpasar. It's one of the largest and most important cultural events on the Balinese calendar, and free to attend.

If you're planning a trip to Bali this month, this is a great reason to time it right. Denpasar is about 30 minutes from Villa Aqua Seminyak.

On March 19th, Bali goes silent for Nyepi.
For a full 24 hours, the entire island comes to a complete standstill. No flights, no lights, no noise, and no stepping outside. It is a sacred day dedicated entirely to fasting, meditation, and looking inward to prepare for the New Year.
