And the first TMTTM Storyteller of the Year is… Federica Zane🌙

When we launched Over the Moon Moments 2026, we weren’t simply looking for the most beautiful travel photo. We wanted to see Indonesia through your eyes: the encounters, landscapes and moments that stay with us long after a journey ends. And you shared so many of them with us.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined the first edition of Over the Moon Moments. Every entry brought a different perspective and a different story. Choosing just one wasn’t easy.

Congratulations Federica Zane — Federica Zane, our first-ever TMTTM Storyteller of the Year.

From underwater encounters to wildlife, from movement to unforgettable Indonesian sunsets, her images captured something we deeply believe in at Take Me to the Moon: travel is not only about the places we see, but about what we feel while discovering them.

Borneo isn’t a place you simply tick off a list. It’s a journey you need time to experience🌿

From the rainforests and wildlife of Sarawak to the rivers, orangutans and wild landscapes of Sabah, this itinerary connects Kuching, Batang Ai and Mulu with Sepilok and the Kinabatangan River.

Designed as a small-group adventure, it brings together wildlife encounters, rainforest exploration, river experiences, local culture and island escapes with enough time to take it all in rather than rushing from one stop to the next.

Led by Roberta Medda, an Italian wellbeing consultant and tour leader who has lived in Borneo, the itinerary is shaped by first-hand knowledge of the region and a deeper understanding of how to experience it beyond the usual tourist route.
