Today is .
And there would be no Everest Day without the unsung heroes of the Himalayas.
While many of us barely catch our breath on high altitudes, these men carry dozens of kilos of supplies on their backs - smiling, humble, and moving with grace that never ceases to amaze me.
Quite frankly, many of them could run up Everest and the world’s highest peaks if they were simply given the same opportunities and resources.
On Everest Day, and every day we’re fortunate enough to be in the mountains - let’s honor the porters, guides, Sherpas, and local communities who make these journeys possible.
Ps these were shot on altitudes between 4000-5000m. Insanity.
